Glaciers awe us not only with grandeur, but with their raw, brutal power. It's reflected in the sharp stacks of ice seracs that march toward a glacier's face, and the dark, scoured areas left by a retreat. We fly over them. Tramp on them. Gaze and wonder at them. The images in this book are intended to celebrate the wondrous nature of Southeast Alaska's glaciers.
